Profile
Dr Kevin Ong is a consultant physician and geriatrician. His interest in geriatric medicine started prior to his undergraduate studies, whilst occasionally serving as a volunteer at a hospital for the elderly. He did his undergraduate medical degree in London, UK. He was the first undergraduate there to be awarded a postgraduate diploma in the ethics and philosophy of medicine.
After completing his internship at Oxford, UK, he worked as a medical officer in Brunei Darussalam before moving to Australasia to pursue specialist training in geriatric medicine.
He has authored several research publications on dementia, won local and international research prizes, and completed his medical science doctorate on dementia neuroimaging at the University of Melbourne, Australia.

In his free time, he enjoys studying traditional Chinese medicine and practising wing chun.
